• How To Calculate Drawer Size:
• Height: Drawer must be at least 3/4" less than the total cabinet opening height. 
• Width: For 5/8" thick drawer material, deduct a total of 3/8" from the cabinet total opening width.
• Width: For 1/2" thick drawer material, deduct a total of 5/8" from the cabinet total opening width.

SIDE THICKNESS  

Drawer sides can be ordered in three thicknesses 1/2”, 5/8”, & 3/4”

1/2” is the STANDARD for all applications.

Occasionally a thicker side (5/8” or 3/4”) is desired for a very large
drawer or sometimes just for aesthetic reasons.
 

FINISH TYPE 

UNFINISHED drawers are raw and have nothing added to the surface of the wood.
PREFINISHED drawers have been finished before assembly. This means the drawer side material is finished before any cuts are made. Dovetails or lap joints will have a raw edge where the cuts have been made. If you want a completely finished product, order FINISHED AFTER ASSEMBLY.
FINISHED AFTER ASSEMBLY is the best quality drawer you can find. After the drawer has been completely assembled, the High Quality Finish is then applied. This gives you an absolutely beautiful looking drawer. No raw spots, just a perfect smooth finish on all sides.
 

Form usually follows function. This is true of the English Dovetail. The strength of the joint is unmatched--and so is its beauty. Our CNC machines pins and tails that precisely fit together with no gap between them so that the joint interlocks tightly with no movement. Once glued, a wooden dovetail joint requires no mechanical fasteners and will last for generations. Dovetail boxes are great for pullout trays and drawers since the front is finished.

In this joint construction type, drawer sides are 1/8" lower than front and back.

REAR NOTCH & BORE is only necessary with Undermount Drawer Slides.
Choose the correct Rear Notch & Bore that corresponds with your
Undermount drawer slides.

For all knock down dissasembled drawers please allow ten to fifteen working days. For all fully assembled drawers please allow twenty (20) to twanty five (25)  working days.
